With in-home services, the individual has to have a skill builder in place to help the individual gain and develop skills in order to increase their independence skills.

These services could be helpful for someone who is a full-time caregiver who could use the additional assistance throughout the day with helping their loved one. The Direct Support Professional would be available to provide verbal prompting, hand-over-hand demonstration, etc., to help the individual with tasks such as cleaning, cooking and any other tasks.
